I’ve been an elementary educator for the past six years. I have been a substitute, long-term substitute and taught grades K-6. This job market hasn’t been very favorable to me, as I continue to get laid off at the end of a school year, or only find long-term substitute positions. I’ve had three contracted positions in six years, and two schools closed, one laid me off for budgetary constraints. I hope that taking E-Learning for Educators, and Assessment in E-Learning might allow me to broaden my horizons and perhaps get hired in a corporate training/education capacity somewhere. Onward and upward!
